Company Background

EasyPOS Solution Inc. is a local company based on every successful
company which was formed in 1992 to address the needs of the bar, hotel, resort and restaurant businesses. The product is based on the successful DPos software system being used in more than 300 outlets, and is now introduced to the Philippines.

The original software was iniatially DOS based; in 2005, EasyPOS Solutions further developed the system and realeased a Windows® version called DPos. DPos is EasyPOS' flagship software and is continually being improved and upgraded to cater the ever growing needs of the bar, hotel, restaurant and resort industries.

point of sale product specifically designed for the bar, resort and restaurant industries that is simple to learn and easy to use. We are pleased to say that we have achieved our mission and we are  continually improving the quality of our product through innovative, high quality new releases.

My OJT Experience

Its not easy for me to find a company that will accept me as their OJT (On The Job Training). Ive passed my resume online and to different companies but a lot of rejections and challenges I experienced in order for me to be accepted. But I didn't give up to find my OJT in order to finish my college  and to complete my requirements. The days goes by, but still nothing I didn't find a company that will accept me and work to their company as thier OJT. I feel down and discouraged, just because some of my classmates are started their On-the-Job-Training and still yet I don't have an OJT. Then I remember on february 2, 2018 I receive an text message from EASYPOS SOLUTION INC. and having my interview on february 5. Im so happy that day just because I had a chance as well to have my OJT .

 And Of course I have not missed this opportunity to prepare myself for my OJT
interview. I woke up early for my interview and of course I felt nervous and excited that day. I do not expect that the person who will be interviewing me is not a Filipino and knowing that the boss in the company is a Australian man is very challenging for me to stand and to have an interview with him. Then I proved myself during my interview that I could do all the task given to me and I'm worthy to be accepted as their OJT.

I feel blessed and thankful because on february 10, 2018 I received again an text message from the office manager of the EASYPOS , that I've been passed my OJT interview and starting february 19, I can start my On The Job Training to their company.I realized that all of the rejections and challenges happened to me is worth, just because being part of EasyPos Solution Inc., is an honor for me to work with them.

I was assigned in the Software Tester and before anything else, what does Software Tester means? A software tester is an individual that test software for bugs, errors, defects or any problem that can affect the performance of computer software or an application. Software Tester also are part of a software development team and perform functional and non-functional testing of software using manual and automated software testing techniques.

The resync request will be generated by cloud services.  Dpos will fetch the resync request on initial load.  If there is a request pending, Dpos will process the JSON-encoded request and generate the appropriate outfiles for upload to the existing batch processing system.

The Software Tester Team is lead by our Team Leader and my mentor Mr. Leandro Serzo . He is the one that helps me to become more familiarized in the software build by the developer of the Easypos and also he improve my knowledge in terms of testing of functional and non-functional testing of software or an application.Too many task I've done, Too many bugs and errors I've fixed and report from the developer. I'm glad that all the task given to me is I finish it on time. After all my Team Leader very satisfied in my work performance and for my behavior while working. And now I'm happy to become a part of a Software Tester Team and work with my co-team mates.
